  • Pork loin is a great choice for feeding a crew. If you’re hosting a large gathering with 8-10 guests, pork loin is the answer you’re looking for.
  • Pork shoulder roast is fall-apart-tender and bursting with flavor. It pairs well with your slow cooker. This cut will feed the family and then some!
  • Pork tenderloin is the perfect cut for a more intimate family gathering. It’s flavorful, lean and easy to cook.
  • Pork rib roast is the cut you need if you want to impress your friends and family with a holiday dinner they’ve never experienced before. Pork rib roast will get the job done!

How Long to Bake a Ham?

Ham is a holiday dinner classic. Place your ham in a shallow pan and bake at 325° F and follow the recommended guidelines. Cook all raw fresh ham and ready-to-eat ham to a minimum internal temperature of 145° F followed by a 3-minute rest. Reheat cooked hams packaged in USDA-inspected plants to 140° F and all others to 165° F.

  1. Place fully cooked, bone-in ham in a large slow cooker.
  2. Whisk 1 cup cider 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup bourbon, 1/4 cup honey, and 1/4 cup Dijon mustard. Scatter 4 thyme sprigs into slow cooker.

Don’t forget about breakfast when you’re planning your tailgating menu. Prep, wrap & store ahead of time, so these breakfast burritos are ready to be thrown on the grill for game day.

Here’s what you’ll need:
8 ounces bacon (cut into 1/2-inch pieces)
8 ounces breakfast sausage (crumbled)
3 cups frozen potato and onion mix (or refrigerated)
1 cup salsa (or pico de gallo)
1 ripe avocado (peeled, pitted, and diced, about 1 cup)
6 burrito size flour tortillas (extra-large, warmed to soften) 2 cups shredded Mexican-blend cheese (divided)
6 eggs (scrambled, divided)
salsa (and/or hot sauce and sour cream for serving)

How to Grill Ribs for Game Day

  1. Pick your favorite  type of pork rib.
  2. Remove the membrane or silverskin on the back of the ribs.
  3. Season all sides with your favorite rub!
  4. Grill over medium indirect heat for 1.5 – 2 hrs.
  5. Baste with your favorite BBQ sauce and continue cooking until ribs reach an internal temp of 190° F.

Easter Recipes with Pork

Here you'll find pork recipes that will look impressive on your Easter brunch, lunch, or dinner table.

Instant Pot Ham

Make this elegant and traditional ham for Easter this year! It doesn’t get much easier than this.

Start with a 4-6 pound spiral cut ham. Combine 2 tbsp honey, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp honey Dijon mustard, and 1/2 cup of apple juice. Pour glaze over ham and in between slices.

Spray pressure cooker with cooking spray and add 1 cup apple juice. Place your ham in the Instant Pot and add the remaining glaze.

Set the Instant Pot to meat mode and cook for 15 minutes. Natural release for 12 minutes and your ham is ready to serve. It’s unbelievably easy!

How Long to Bake a Ham?

Place your ham in a shallow pan and bake at 325°F for 10 minutes per pound. If your ham is partially cooked, plan on 20 minutes per pound.
